Quick Answer:
- This black velvet circle bed is the best round bed dupe for the money, with the same rolled, button-tufted headboard, round tufted base and storage hidden in the frame.
The round velvet bed is the bedroom piece everyone keeps saving: a tall rolled headboard covered in button tufting, a round tufted base, and storage tucked into the frame. The Original
Rosdorf Park's black velvet round storage bed at Wayfair.
The Rosdorf Park bed is upholstered in black plush velvet with deep button tufting. A tall rolled headboard trimmed with nailheads rises behind a round tufted base, and the curved sides of the base lift open for storage. It sells for about $2,000 at Wayfair.
The Dupe
One Amazon bed matches it piece for piece.
First of a Kind Tufted Velvet Circle Bed with Storage, Black, Eastern King
The First of a Kind circle bed matches the round velvet bed piece for piece: black velvet, a tall rolled headboard covered in deep button tufting with nailhead trim, and a round tufted base. The sides of the base lift open and the footboard holds more storage, so spare blankets and pillows disappear into the frame. It is sized for an Eastern King mattress and measures 106 inches wide, 107 inches long and 56 inches tall at the headboard. It also comes in grey and cream.

The same tufted round bed for noticeably less.
The Rosdorf Park bed sells for about $2,000. The First of a Kind brings the same tufted round look in for well under that, which leaves room in the budget for new bedding and a pair of lamps.
The Look
From across the room, they read as the same bed.
Both pair a tall rolled headboard covered in deep button tufting with a round, tufted velvet base, and both trim the headboard with nailheads. In black velvet they look like the same bed. If black feels too heavy for your room, the First of a Kind also comes in grey and cream.
Storage
The round base hides a lot.
The curved sides of each base lift open, and the First of a Kind adds a storage compartment in the footboard. Spare blankets, pillows and off-season bedding all disappear into the frame.
Room Fit
Measure the floor, not just the mattress.
The First of a Kind is 106 inches wide, 107 inches long and 56 inches tall at the headboard, sized for an Eastern King mattress. The round base takes up more floor than a standard king frame, so leave a clear path around it and check the headboard height against low windows.
The Verdict
The First of a Kind is the round bed to buy
It has the same black velvet, deep button tufting, tall rolled headboard with nailhead trim and round storage base as the Rosdorf Park, for noticeably less, and it is sized for an Eastern King mattress.
If black feels too heavy for your bedroom, the same bed comes in grey and cream.
